Leeds Bike Mill are not-for-profit community bike recycling and training co-operative.  They sell affordable, fully bicycles to people in the community and deliver a range of training courses in bike maintenance.  See (https://leedsbikemill.org/) for more details.  They will be open from 10-4 this Saturday. 

JOIN us for a an Easy Ride to Skelton Lake this coming Saturday morning!

STEPS - On the way we will visit the controversial steps which are currently an obstacle on the Leeds to Castleford cycle route.  It has been one of our campaign aims for a while now to try to find a solution to the current situation of steep steps and muddy path.  Volunteers from Leeds Cycling Campaign will be there throughout the day to canvass the opinions of cyclists.  Come and speak to us and give us your views!

JOIN us for a an Easy Ride to Moortown this coming Saturday morning!

The purpose of our Easy Rides is to encourage those new to or returning to cycling to become more confident on the streets around Leeds.  We use quiet streets and cycle paths and proceed at a leisurely pace.  No special sports clothes needed!  We travel a short distance and we hope we are helpful and friendly.

Meet:               The Leeds Art Gallery (LS1 3AA) (by the chess boards)

Time:               10:15am (for a 10:30 set off)

JOIN us for a an Easy Ride to Kirkstall this coming Saturday morning!

Unfortunately the Kirkstall Valley Farm (www.kvdt.org.uk) is full when we were hoping to join them, though there may be spaces at 3pm.  We may arrange this tour for another time or call by the farm.  Perhaps bring some containers as it may be possible to pick blackberries.

TODAY'S Easy Ride will be to Kirkstall, stopping at a nice café there.  Unfortunately the tour of Kirkstall Valley Farm (www.kvdt.org.uk) we were hoping to attend is full, we may try attend another the tour another time, also we may call by the farm too.  Perhaps bring some containers in case we can pick blackberries!

We will use quiet streets and cycle paths and see Woodhouse Ridge, Beckett Park, Horsforth and return via the canal towpath.

TODAY'S Easy Ride will be from the Leeds Art Gallery, passing Leeds Arena, St James's Hospital, East End Park, the Armouries Museum, Cross Flatts Park and Elland Road. Stopping at a nice café at Beeston Hill with a visit to Holbeck Cemetery which has the famous Harrison grave and a good view over the city centre.  As always we will use quiet streets and cycle paths and proceed at a leisurely pace.
