Leeds Cycling Consultation Forum: Wednesday 9th October 2013

Leeds Cycling Consultation Forum is this Wednesday, 9th October, 6.00pm for a 6.15pm start. The meeting will close no later than 8:45pm and we usually go to the pub afterwards!

The meeting is held in the Civic Hall, Leeds - the white building on Millennium Square, with the golden owls. There is some cycle parking outside, and we can also bring bikes into the building and leave them in the downstairs corridor on the left.

The Cycling Consultation Meeting is a forum for discussion of matters related to cycling in Leeds.  It is open to interested members of the public and is attended by elected members and officers of Leeds City Council.

The agenda can be downloaded from the bottom of this page, and includes:

New Generation Transport (NGT - trolleybus)  The NGT design team will attend the meeting and will be highlighting recent changes to designs and describe how further feedback can be given.  

Tour de France – An update will be given on arrangements for Le Tour and maximising its legacy. 

Cycle City Ambition Grant bid – Since the last Forum, the cycle cities ambition bid has been funded!

Leeds Core Cycle Network developments. – Mark Robinson and Tim Parry from Leeds City Council will outline new developments including the Cookridge Street Controflow and plans for a high quality cycle route along Regent Street and linking Sheepscar with the city centre.
