Leeds City Council have some schemes currently in development that they'd like to discuss with us, with the aim of improving things for cycling, The meeting to talk about the schemes is this Wednesday, 12th November. The schemes up for discussion include:
J44 M1/A639 Leeds Road Highways Agency scheme to reduce the pinch point effect of the junction.
J27 M621/A62 Gelderd Road Highways Agency scheme to reduce the pinch point effect of the junction.
J28 M621/A653 Dewsbury Road Highways Agency scheme to reduce the pinch point effect of the junction.
A643 Elland Road, SW of Cottingley Drive Churwell Hill - Carriageway Resurfacing/Road Markings – Removal of substandard width cycle lane.
Chapeltown Road Revised scheme to reinstall improved cycle lane by pedestrian crossing.
Wood Lane Rothwell Newly installed lining scheme from which complaints have arisen.
Calverley Lane North Recently installed scheme with potential lining/signing adjustments.
Bridgewater Place Proposed wind barrier on east footway may affect cycling arrangements.
