Quite hilly but with some good views. Possibilty of a cafe stop in Cleckheaton (11 miles) as Kirkburton is 26 miles. In Kirkburton the lovely Cottage Kitchen we have been to before is permanently closed so we will try Joys Coffee House instead. Passing Emley Moor on the way back, the ride ends at Crown Point bridge.
Out via Pontefract La, Rothwell, Ardsley, Gawthorpe, Ossett. Lunch at Cafe Wellgate. Return by Greenway to Earlsheaton then Hanging Heaton, Batley, Birstall, Birkenshaw, Tong, Armley, Leeds Town Hall.
