Easy Ride to Farsley

TODAY'S ride will be to to Farsley, stopping for refreshments at a nice café

Starting and finishing at The Leeds Art Gallery, The Headrow (LS1 3AA), as always we will be friendly and helpful, cycling steadily, no rush.

We will use quiet streets and cycle paths, going out along the canal towpath and then returning via the Leeds-Bradford Cycle Superhighway.

No special sports clothes or equipment needed!

Easy Ride to Gotts Park

TODAY'S Easy Ride will be to visit Gotts Park, which has good views over Leeds from their very pleasant and good value café.

We will use quiet streets and cycle paths and see the canal towpath, Bridgewater Place, Granary Wharf Canal Basin, The Tetley Museum and Holbeck Moor.

Easy Ride - Kirkstall (hedgehog event)

TODAY'S Easy Ride will be to Kirkstall, to attend the hedgehog event at the new public community building operated by Kirkstall Valley Development Trust.  Then we will stop at a nice café near there.

We will use quiet streets and cycle paths and see Woodhouse Ridge, Beckett Park, Horsforth and return via the canal towpath.

Easy Ride - Cookridge

TODAY'S ride will be to to Cookridge, stopping for refreshments at a nice café.

Also we will visit a small exhibition about John Wainwright Watson who built many of the houses in the area.

Easy Ride to Beeston Hill

TODAY'S Easy Ride will be from the Leeds Art Gallery, passing Leeds Arena, St James's Hospital, East End Park, the Armouries Museum, Cross Flatts Park and Elland Road. Stopping at a nice café at Beeston Hill with a visit to Holbeck Cemetery which has the famous Harrison grave and a good view over the city centre.  As always we will use quiet streets and cycle paths and proceed at a leisurely pace.

Easy Ride - Picnic/Blackberries

TODAY'S Easy Ride led by Ursula will be to have our Easy Rides annual picnic with blackberry picking.

We will use quiet streets and cycle paths to get to the carefully-selected spot to have a picnic.  There will also be many blackberry bushes nearby, containers will be provided.  Please bring picnicky type food etc. to share.
