Roundhay EasyRiders Plus to Skelton Grange Road Bridge 20 miles

This weeks Easy Ride will be going to the centre of Leeds to have a look at the new Urban park which has been made on the disused Monk Bridge Viaduct.

After this we'll take the tow path along the Leeds Liverpool Canal to ride across the new David Oluwale Bridge which spans the river Aire around the back ASDA's head office.

We'll then continue along the canal to Skelton Grange to have a look and try out the new steps & cycle rail on Skelton Grange Road Bridge. 

There will be a further coffee stop at Skelton Lake Services to prepare for the return leg back up to Roundhay.

 

Meet:               10 a.m. Tropical World Cafe, Princes Street, Roundhay

To warm up for the ride & possibly get a hot drink

OR If you don't need to do either.

Meet               10:30 a.m. 

                        At the bus stop & lay by opposite Roundhay Park main entrance on Princes Street, about 200 metres down from tropical world on the same side.

 

Lunch stop    12 midday approx 

                         Wetherspoons, Millennium Square.

 

PM coffee stop    Skelton Lake Services

Bring a flask of your own hot drink if you wish.
