Roundhay Park (old tram terminus)

Main car park (former tram terminus for Roundhay Park), at the junction of Prince’s Avenue and Lidgett Park Road (near main park gates/skate park).

Roundhay Easy Ride

The meeting place is by the tennis courts at Roundhay Park.

Gerri will lead a ride along the Wykebeck Valley Way to Temple Newsam.  This route is mainly on dedicated cycle paths with no traffic.

The meeting place is by the tennis courts at Roundhay Park.

The distance and destination will be decided on the day.  It will either be about 14 miles to Muddy Boots cafe at Harewood or about 20 miles to Cheerful Chilli.

Everyone welcome, priority will be given to the shorter distance.

Meet by the tennis courts at Roundhay Park

Gerri will lead a ride along the Wykebeck Valley Way to Temple Newsam.  This is mainly on dedicated cycle tracks.  She anticipates joining the Temple Newsam Trailway through the woods edging Temple Newsam golf course to see the wonderful display of bluebells.  Then once in the grounds of Temple Newsam she may meander through the gardens if the rhododendrons and camellias are in flower.

Gerri will lead a ride to the Maypole Cafe Barwick in Elmet.  The distance will be either 15 miles or 24 miles.  Priority will be given to any riders preferring the shorter distance.  The ride may split into two groups with both distances being available.
