Fairly Hilly. Average gradient 1.5% where 1% is flattish and 2% is very hilly. Out on the A62 to Gildersome, hopefully quiet on a Sunday morning. Lunch at the Mamil cafe (and bike shop), Brighouse at 16 miles
Quite hilly but with some good views. Possibilty of a cafe stop in Cleckheaton (11 miles) as Kirkburton is 26 miles. In Kirkburton the lovely Cottage Kitchen we have been to before is permanently closed so we will try Joys Coffee House instead. Passing Emley Moor on the way back, the ride ends at Crown Point bridge.
