The ride will start from the entrance to Eccup Reservoir on Harrogate Road at 9:30

This is quite a long ride for our normal Tuesday group and plans to have at least 2 stops with an option for a 3rd stop in Otley on the way home.

The meeting place will be Pret-a-manger, station concourse side, Leeds Rail station.

Meet up undercover for coffee before the ride start. 9-9:30 (50p for white coffee if you bring your own re-sealable cup.)

I have led this ride before last November and had good turn out.

A choice good value farm shop or community cafe (i.e.option to split the group if high attendance)i for the breakfast stop after 11 miles into the ride.

A 500 yard off road track following the edge of Skelmenthorpe nature reserve.

Friday 19 July: From 10.15am with a ribbon cutting, photos and media call at 10.30am

Leeds Cycling Campaign members are invited to attend a ribbon cutting to mark the official opening of Leeds’s new £7.9 million city centre cycle superhighway delivered through the West Yorkshire Combined Authority’s CityConnect programme, aimed at encouraging more people to travel by bike or on foot, in partnership with Leeds City Council.

Evening Ride to Crooked Billet Saxton

Distance 21 miles

A leisurely ride going via Cross Gates passing rear of the Springs Retail Park on to off-road track through Parlington to Aberford with a destination at the Crooked Billet for supper.

Return to Leeds via Barwick in Elmet.
