Join us for what used to be an annual event to pick some blackberries followed by a small picnic/ cafe stop in Meanwood Park.
Starting in the city-centre, 10.15-10.30 a.m, this is a short ride using trails along the Meanwood Valley and Park where I hope we can find some good pickings.
Note the ride will be slow-paced with lots of stopping and starting as we will be guided by the availability of the crop! The attached route is a general outline rather than the exact route due to difficulties with plotting smaller paths I will be taking.
Bring plastic containers if you have some!
Return is via Headingley and Hyde Park but feel free to peel off anytime during the ride!
