Supporting the 'Ride Bradford' event at Lister Park on Sat June 21st, we'll take the quickest route there (CS1), which is around 11 miles and stay awhile before returning to Leeds around 3:30pm along the canal (66). So, more of an intermediate 'Easy' Ride but mostly on the superhighway. We may stop for a break in Thornberry before heading to the park. The route back via the canal is around 15 miles but should be straightforward, barring pedestrian traffic, and another break somewhere on the way back is also possible.
ADVISORY! The weather forecast for Saturday is for heat, so please dress appropriately and bring plenty of water and sun cream with you! Please note the start time will be half an hour earlier at 10:00 from the central library and I'll aim to be there at 9:45. There's also trains from Frizinghall or Shipley for anyone not wishing to cycle back.
