Leeds Art Gallery, The Headrow (LS1 3AA)

Provisionally meeting at the usual place outside Leeds Central Library, the ride will take us out to Seacroft to meet with people at the Secroft Active Travel Hub.

Here is the route I have worked out for Saturday's ride. It starts at the usual starting place at the Central Library with first stop at Denis Healy Centre. I have mapped a route back to Meanwood as the repair cafe might be of interest to others also. 

There will be a ride out to this years 'Let's Move: South Leeds' event at Cross Flatts Park in Beeston on Saturday (see https://fb.me/e/9ipaaRaI9 for details), setting off from the usual place at around 11:30am NOTE THE LATER TIME!! As the ride is intended to take people to the event, which starts at noon, the return leg is a bit shorter than usual.

Join us for for a ride out to the Maple Cafe in Woodlesford, including views along the river Aire and Temple Newsam along the route.

This ride will take us from the city centre to Middleton Park and (most likely) the Leeds Urban Bike Park & Cafe. There's a steady but fairly gentle incline up Dewsbury Road to reach the Bike Park, but we'll take it easy! From there, it's downhill almost all the way along Belle Isle Road and into town. We should be back before 2:00pm

SLIGHT UPDATE!  An Urban Easy Ride (UER) from the city centre to the Middleton Railway via the. cafe at Cross Flatts park, where we'll stop for refreshment and then back via the riverside to Briggate. It's about 15 miles overall with a hill to negotiate just past Elland Road. Meet at the Leeds Art Gallery on The Headrow. The Middleton Railway is the world's oldest working railway line!

Join us for a short sociable urban Easy ride this Saturday, exploring some of the new cycling infrastructure in and around the city-centre. 

The aim is to try out some of the new routes at a gentle pace and meet up with riders from the Roundhay ride for a coffee stop at Wellington Place in the late morning.

Meet at 10.15 a.m for 10.30 a.m start  from outside the City Art Gallery. 

Route to be agreed on the day but will be max 10 miles round trip.
