Roundhay Park (old tram terminus)

Chirs will lead a ride to Lotherton Hall at Easy Rider pace but a bit further in distance, planned coffee stop at Lotherton Hall.  Route will be finalised nearer the date as it will depend on weather, particularily rainfall as one option is off-road some of the time and may be too muddy.

Easy Riders meet at 10:15 by the tennis courts at Roundhay park and set off at 10:30

The route today will visit Greenscapes Nursery where homemade cakes and snacks will be available.

It is one of the shorter routes from Roundhay, but one of the hilliest.  The two climbs are on quiet country lanes, often free of traffic - but not guaranteed.

On the first Saturday of every month we hope to have an Easy Riders Plus ride from Roundhay.  These rides aim to be between 20 and 25 miles riding at Easy Rider pace with a refreshment stop en route.

January 2018 Robin will lead a ride and all are welcome to join him.

A ride by Eccup reservoir through Eccup village and then on to Weardley Bank where there is an exhilaratng descent to the rear entrance of the Harewood estate.  

A short ride along a lovely smooth tarmac road as used in the Grand Depart 2014 then a steady climb some on a rough track before a welcoming refreshment stop at Muddy Boots cafe.

Return through Wyke.

The small amount of off-road is ok for road bikes.

A ride north of Leeds on quiet roads and country lanes.   New riders are welcome and we will introduce you to our favourite routes around the outskirts of North Leeds.

Rob will lead a ride to Wetherby.  It will go at Easy Ride pace but for a longer distance.  There will be a cafe stop in Wetherby before returning to Leeds.
