Long Ride to Bolton Abbey

Jon will lead this Sunday's long ride (53 miles) to Bolton Abbey.

Start point - 9.30am at the City Square.  Pick-up point at 10.00am at Lawnswood Roundabout.

Route description: From City square through Headingley to Lawnswood (pickup at 10am) then on Otley Old road to join the West Yorkshire Cycle route (WYCR) to Ilkley (possible coffee stop).  Climbing out of Ilkley via Cocking Lane (still on the WYCR) to Asket Hill, Draughton,  Halton East to Bolton Abbey.  Return via Beamsley, Askwith and Otley.  Full route on link below

Intermediate Ride - Bradford & Dewsbury Triangle

Steven will lead this Sunday's ride to Bradford and Dewsbury.  We will use cycle on the Stanningley Road for the first few miles which is a busier road than we would normally use but we would like to see how the new Cycle Superhighway is progressing.

Cafe stop will be in the hut at Bowling Park.  We will use the pleasant Spen Valley Greenway then lunch will be at the nice cafe by the marina in Dewsbury.

Start at 9.30am at the City Square.

Intermediate Ride to Knaresborough

Frank will lead an intermediate ride of 53 miles (43 miles if you do the shortened version) to Knaresborough.

Start point - City Square at 9.30am.  Pick-up point at 10.00am at Moortown (Co-op).

Route Description: Via Slaid Hill, Wetherby, Little Ribston, Knaresborough (lunch stop).  Return via Beryl Burton Way to Harrogate, Burn Bridge, Stainburn, Pool, Creskelt Lane.  NB. No breakfast stop.
