On Friday 18th September it will be exactly one month since Andrew Wilsea was tragically killed whilst riding his bike along Gelderd Road in Leeds.
Against the backdrop of rising pedestrian and cyclist casualties, Leeds Cycling Campaign are calling on Leeds City Council, The West Yorkshire Combined Authority, and West Yorkshire Police to prioritise the safety of vulnerable road users and do more to make our roads a safer place.
Steven S will lead an intermediate ride to Dewsbury of approximately 35 miles. Mid-morning refrshment stop, then lunch stop in Dewsbury. Everyone welcome!
Andy B will lead an intermediate ride to Netherthong Cider Mill (near Huddersfield) of approximately 55 miles. Breakfast at Station Café, Brighouse. There could be some hills on this ride!
